Pulp & Paper

February 5, 2020 by

Hatfield has decades of experience providing environmental services in the pulp and paper sector. Our services include: environmental impact assessments, effects monitoring, trace contaminant monitoring, environmental management strategies, aquatic ecology studies, and expert reviews. Since the federal Environmental Effects Monitoring program began, we have helped the majority of pulp mills in Western Canada maintain compliance and keep up with evolving environmental regulations. Our specialists are up-to-date on all relevant environmental regulations, so we can manage permitting requirements and ensure compliance domestically and internationally for our clients.

Why Hatfield?

Hatfield has managed environmental projects in the pulp and paper sector in various locations, including Canada, Southeast Asia, Australia, China, and South America. We have developed and implemented some of the most comprehensive, long-term monitoring initiatives in the industry, including dioxin and furan trend monitoring programs in aquatic environments throughout British Columbia. Our specialists help navigate clients through complex regulatory processes, with customized solutions to meet each project’s specific environmental challenges.
