Africa

Home/About/Region/Africa

Hatfield Consultants Africa (HCA) was established in Gaborone, Botswana, in 2010, as a locally incorporated subsidiary of Hatfield, providing a range of geomatics, information technology, and environmental services to government and private sector clients, with a focus on members of the Southern African Development Community (SADC). HCA takes pride in developing the skills and capabilities of our local staff who are further supported with technical expertise from our head office in Canada and office in Indonesia.

HCA has a highly experienced and well-established geomatics team that provides a wide range of services throughout Africa. These include satellite image acquisition and analysis, development and deployment of GIS and data analytics systems, satellite image sale and subscription services. Hatfield also supports development of a range of information and communication technologies (ICT) and has extensive experience with facilitation and stakeholder engagement throughout southern Africa. To better serve our clients, Hatfield Africa is committed to employing and associating with high-quality and experienced local and regional specialists, and maintains an extensive network of regional environmental and social experts.

Sectoral experience includes infrastructure, mining and exploration, forestry, renewable energy, international development, agriculture, and conservation sectors.
