Background

Hatfield Consultants Africa (HCA) provided mapping services to Bergstan Africa, a Botswana-based civil engineering company assisting with the upgrading of sanitation infrastructure in Maputo and Katembe Mozambique.

Services Provided

HCA acquired WorldView-2 high resolution colour satellite imagery, which was used to update infrastructure and elevation contour maps and extract new infrastructure features for the city of Maputo to support. Once the surface infrastructure data had been captured, HCA Geomatics staff produced a series of detailed infrastructure cartographic products for planning and decision-making.
