Hatfield Indonesia continues support of local elementary school

Hatfield is committed to supporting communities in which we work through corporately funded CSR initiatives. In 2016 PT Hatfield Indonesia (PTHI) continued to support Sekolah Dasar Negeri Ciburayut 02, an elementary school located within the Bogor school district. This public school is attended by 120 students drawn primarily from rural communities. In 2015, PTHI donated funds for the installation of hand washing facilities, accompanied by demonstrations on personal and oral hygiene. These efforts resulted in improvements to student hygiene and reduced risks of disease transmission. PTHI is pleased to announce its continued support to the school through the provision of additional funds for the purchase of new building infrastructure, student furniture, and sports equipment. On a recent tour of the school, PTHI staff viewed the newly installed facilities and equipment, and met with senior staff to discuss continuation of PTHI’s support program.

This donation is part of PTHI’s continued Corporate Social Responsibility program with a focus on improving health and education outcomes in rural areas of Indonesia. Using a campaign theme entitled “Clean and Healthy Lifestyle”, PTHI is proud to be supporting and engaging with local communities.
