Hatfield Consultants Africa wins Award at MAXAR Conference

Jul 15, 2019

On June 18, 2019, Hatfield Consultants Africa (HCA) received one of five ENGAGE Awards at MAXAR’s annual ENGAGE conference for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region (EMEAR), held in Barcelona, Spain. The award was presented by MAXAR executives Dan Jablonsky, President and CEO, and Tony Frazier, EVP of Global Field Operations.

The ENGAGE award is presented to channel partners in the EMEAR region who play a key role in representing MAXAR solutions and have demonstrated exceptional application and best practice in the field of Earth Observation (EO). HCA was recognized for having increased the user-base and adoption of earth intelligence within the Botswana government by demonstrating the value that space-derived information can have to multiple agencies. This multi-agency approach was replicated to the Government of Namibia and helped to broaden the usage and application of on-demand access cloud services, while improving affordability.

The 2019 ENGAGE award marks three years of award-winning work for HCA, who’s efforts to increase the use of EO data in their region were also recognized in 2017 and 2018 by DigitalGlobe, and now by MAXAR.
