Hatfield’s Lianne Leblond nominated for the 2023 Women’s Infrastructure Network’s Emerging Leader Award

Feb 24, 2023

Hatfield is thrilled to announce the nomination of Lianne Leblond, Senior Environmental Specialist and Project Manager in our Infrastructure and Environmental Management Group, for the 2023 Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN) Emerging Leader Award. This award recognizes women who showcase themselves as models of leadership for the infrastructure industry of tomorrow.

Lianne brings twelve years of work experience in infrastructure, six of which are with Hatfield in our Infrastructure and Environmental Management Group. She has worked extensively in the infrastructure sector throughout British Columbia demonstrating her talent for balancing empirical science with education and humor and her passion for developing sustainable environmental culture within the infrastructure sector. Lianne has demonstrated leadership recently by presenting on slope stabilization at the BC Erosion and Sediment Control Association Annual Conference in November of last year. Additionally, she has mentored four junior professionals through the BC Institute of Agrologists mentorship program .

Women’s Infrastructure Network is a dynamic program designed for women in infrastructure to help facilitate connections and networking, exchange ideas, and help shape the future of infrastructure. The program has had great success since its inception in 2015, and continues to celebrate women who have been making significant and meaningful contributions to infrastructure in Canada and abroad.

The WIN awards will be announced on April 27, 2023 and you can learn more about past winners and the Women’s Infrastructure Network here: https://www.womensinfrastructure.ca/the-win-awards
