Hatfield staff donate funds to build a home in Mmankgodi Village, Botswana

On December 17th, 2014, Hatfield Consultants Africa participated in a House Handover Ceremony at Mmankgodi Village with the Ministry of Lands and Housing and Department of Surveys and Mapping. The house was handed over to the recipient, Ms Mosetsi Mochina, by the Minister for Lands and Housing, Honourable Prince Maele, during a ceremony in the village. The building project commenced in November 2013 and was completed in early December 2014.
Hatfield Consultants, along with several other companies, contributed to materials that enabled the building of the house, including ceiling, roofing and plumbing supplies. The construction of Mme Mochina’s house was coordinated the Department of Surveys and Mapping, who in the words of one of the speakers at the event, are really living the vision of the Ministry – Sustainable Human Settlements.
Hatfield Consultants was proud to participate in this initiative, led by the Department, as it provided an opportunity to provide a home for a senior member of the community.
