Description

PT Hatfield Indonesia (PTHI) is seeking a technical specialist for the position of IT Helpdesk based in our Bogor office. You are expected to provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software and resolve issues for staff either in the office or remotely in a timely manner. You will monitor and maintain computer systems and the network by proactively diagnosing and resolve potential hardware and software faults to ensure smooth operations. This position will report to the IT Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for proactive and timely management of software, hardware, and networks as well as hardware and software purchases and repair, maintaining licenses and providing technical assistance over the communication devices or system.
  • Manage IT inventory, log, and ensure timely replacement of equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks and ensure stable internet connections in the office and for staff working in remote locations.
  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary include testing of new technology.
  • Responsible for incoming and departing employee hardware and software provision and configuration and provide IT and systems orientation to incoming employees.
  • Write IT support documentation for employees.
  • Log IT issues cases and follow-up until cases are resolved.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  • Support the implementation of company QHSE systems and policies.

Education and Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or relevant field from a reputable university.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in an IT support role.
  • Experience with Windows OS, basic LAN, and WLAN are essential and knowledge with LINUX will be an advantage.
  • Experience with client PC connectivity; e.g., ethernet, TCP/IP, switch, and router configurations.
  • Experience with a diverse range of computer systems, configuration of mobile devices (iOS and Android), and other technology for an office and remote operations setting (e.g., printers, scanners).
  • Proficient with IT security management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Problem-solver capable to diagnose and resolve IT technical issues.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Logical approach to problem resolution, organized, and attention to details.
