Hatfield Consultants began working in Southeast Asia in the 1980s with an aquaculture project in Thailand and has since completed a wide range of projects in different sectors throughout the region including; Viet Nam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, China and Indonesia.

Indonesia

Hatfield is a pioneer in the field of environmental services in Indonesia, with our first local office established in 1990 in Bogor, West Java, with offices more recently established in Jakarta and Bali. Hatfield Indonesia provides a strong local presence, knowledge, and a team of local and international multi-disciplinary specialists built-up over more than 25 years of regional experience.

Hatfield provides a range of environmental services in Indonesia to sectors including Fisheries and Aquaculture, Forestry, Infrastructure, International Development, Mining and Exploration, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, and Pulp and Paper sectors.

Mekong Region

Hatfield has worked continuously since the late 1980’s in Viet Nam on projects related to the monitoring and management of Agent Orange and other contaminants left over from the Viet Nam War. Building on this work, Hatfield expanded into other sectors including Fisheries and Aquaculture, Forestry, Infrastructure, International Development, Mining and Exploration, Oil and Gas. Oil Sands, Renewable Energy, and Pulp and Paper sectors.

To better service regional clients, Hatfield established Hatfield Consultants Mekong (HCM), and opened a permanent office in Lao PDR in 2012.
