Monitoring Aquatic Environments in the Athabasca Oil Sands Region of Alberta
The Alberta oil sands of northern Canada are significant component of the world’s petroleum resources – about one-third the size of the entire world’s known reserves of conventional crude oil. Since 2003, Hatfield has been providing environmental, GIS, remote sensing, data management and project management expertise to the Oil Sands region, with emphasis on aquatic resources. more>>

Expert review of Georgia Strait Pipeline
Hatfield reviewed and evaluated the marine component of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) documentation submitted to the National Energy Board (NEB) in support of a proposed submarine natural gas pipeline crossing from Washington State to Vancouver Island. more>>
