Geographic Information Systems to Support Mine Management
Hatfield provides ongoing geographic information technology services to Banpu Public Company Ltd. (Banpu), a leading southeast Asian energy company. Hatfield developed a Geographic Information System (GIS) to support Banpu’s mine management, as well as implemented training programmes for mine personnel and senior managers in Indonesia and Thailand. more>>
Environmental Baseline Study of Mining Operations in Indonesia
PT International Nickel Indonesia Tbk. (PT Inco) is developing facilities to commercialise less economic portions of nickel ore deposits and expand operations within their mining concessions, located on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. Recognizing the need for a high quality environmental baseline study in an area with unique ecosystems and species of fauna and flora, PT Inco contracted Hatfindo Indonesia to undertake an environmental baseline survey of potentially affected ecosystems. more>>
