Hatfield Indonesia provides due diligence studies for airport development projects in Java, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi
Feb 17, 2017
PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) is a Government of Indonesia initiative structured as a private non-bank financial institution in the form of a cooperative with the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), and other international multilaterals. IIF is focused on investing in commercially feasible infrastructure projects in Indonesia and supports private-sector engagement in the country’s infrastructure development. IIF provides long-term fund-based products and has become an important additional source of funding for infrastructure projects in Indonesia.
IIF retained PT Hatfield Indonesia to implement Social and Environmental Due Diligence (SEDD) studies prior to the provision of funding to support development of regional airports in Indonesia. The focus of the SEDD includes a review of environmental and social management systems, project-level audits, review of EIA documents (AMDAL), and review of feasibility studies with associated permits and registrations. These studies will include multiple site visits and assessments of proposed projects relative to national laws and regulations, and IIF S&E Principles. A final report will outline results of the gap analysis and Corrective Action Plans (CAP) for the projects.
